Elizabeth Chidester is a classically trained Soprano/Belt singer and actress from Virginia with a BM Cum Laude in Music Theatre from James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA.
Recently she has been a lead singer of a party band with Carnival Cruise Lines and Holland America Line, traveling in the North East and North West United States, Canada, the Eastern and Western Caribbean, and Alaska. With the bands, she sang a variety of styles, including pop, rock, R&B, jazz, motown, disco, folk, and country.
She continues to perform and write folk/jazz music on guitar and piano.
She also has experience music directing in musical theatre, choral, and children's theatre venues.
CURRENT PROJECT:
Elizabeth is scheduled to be on board the Veendam with Holland America Line as the lead singer of the HAL Cats from April 2012-July 2012. (New York City-Bermuda)
